Ah, those wonderful bells! They didn’t last long, but did have the desired effect!

With the end of 2007 fast approaching, I wanted to thank everyone for their continued support of our server fund and web community. Without your generosity, we would not have had the opportunity to meet so many new people and spend countless hours shooting the crap and each other.

We were very fortunate this year, not only in the support we received, but also hearing that two of our fellow DexWorldians, Cossack, serving in Afghanistan and Stank, serving in Iraq, are well. We wish them and their comrades our best and pray for their speedy return home.

We were also met with a little bit of disappointment this past year after two “must have” FPS games were hosted, only to have them fail due to a lack of following. A lot of effort went into to setting up both servers and kudos go to the Admins and fellow players who donated their time to research, configure and tweak these games.

There are a lot of new faces who joined the community this year and to those of you who have complained that DexWorld “isn’t the same” are absolutely correct. It isn’t the same and never will be. We will continue to grow and prosper, change and evolve as time passes. One thing will remain though and that is the commitment to our players to host “fair and balanced” game servers.

This simple rule has enticed many of you to join our ranks and contribute to our community. I am continually amazed by the huge support we received all year long. Whether you donated only once or several times this year, I want to personally thank all of you again for your help and generosity. Special thanks go out to all of the Admins as well for their devotion, time and effort they have given through out the year. We couldn’t do it without each of you.

I wish all of you a most joyous holiday season and prosperous New Year!

Then don't act like this is the old dexworld. Make the changes accordingly. You can start by taking down pictures of those who do not play and or visit the boards anymore.

What did you expect?!?!? I got the Reagan part right (I lived through the
80's; what a time)!
